This has a 1248cc, 75bhp/19.7kgm torque multijet diesel motor.Top speed is 160 kmph.Enough power between 3rd and 5th gear.The power delivery is very linear.The ride is comfortable.Interior space is plenty.
But the pedals are jutting forward pushing the driver seat far behind, even behind the B pillar so much so, the leg room for the rear seat passenger is very little.If only they chopped off the pedals a little bit and pushed the driver seat forward,this car could get 20 out of 20

The second generation Jazz is already in India.It will hit Indian show rooms in June 2009.It is the biggest hatch back, even bigger than the i20 and Skoda Fabia.
This car offers generous amount of space.To correct the obstructin of the A-pillar, the Jazz has slimmer A-pillar and wide quarter glass.The boot is the largest in a hatch back we have ever seen.There is a new feature called" double trunk"in the boot, a small storage area covered by a hinged flap where usually the spare tyre sits.Alas! the spare tyre is not provided,which is disastrous in the Indian roads.Instead a spare tyre could have been provided under the boot like in the Toyota Innova, the older generation Peugeot Cars.

The agile Q5 is a scaled down version of the Q7 built on the same platform as the A4 with the same wheel base.

The steering wheel has audio controls on it.The automatic version has paddle shifts also to change gears. A new characteristic of this SUV is its hill descent feature. The on board computers assist you to climb down a steep hill.

Two engine options are available in India. A 3.0 litre 240bhp TDi diesel and a 2.0 litre 208 bhp turbo petrol. In the US market a 3.2 LV6 variable valve lift petrol is the olny option now available.A hybrid petrol/electric may come out in the future.

Honda has launched the new Accord in India.The six cylinder car weighing more than 1.5 tons is a petrol car like all honda cars.The most advanced technology in this car is a new cylinder management system. When you do not need a lot of torque like eg. when you are cruising on the highway a few of the cylinders will shut down, ie all the valves will close and fuel injection also will stop. Like this upto three cylinders will be disabled. Again when you need torque these cylinders will become functional.The new accord with this V6 engine will cost more than 28 lakhs.
