Ritz is finally here.This is the 8th car from the Maruti stables in 4 years.This car is built on the same platform as the Swift, but taller and longer.You will get Lxi, Vxi,Zxi, Ldi,and Vdi.

The gear lever is housed in the central console which is easy to operate.There is adequate leg room for the rear passengers, but at the expense of the boot space.The petrol engine is an all new 1.2 litre four cylinder, 16 valve unit which belts out 85 Ps power, and Bharat Stage IV.The diesel unit is the same 1.3 DDiS engine which gives out 75 Ps and 19kg torque which the Swift,Dzire,Palio Stile and the latest Tata Indica share.Even the Fiat Linea has the same engine with a little modification to bring out more power.In the Linea,the same engine has a variable geometry turbo which boosts the power to 90 Bhp and torque to 20kgm.

Superb is simly superb

The new Skoda Superb comes with a new engine. 1.8 TSI engine is a direct injection turbo petrol. It belts out 25.5 kgm torque at 1500 rpm and a power of 160 bhp.The top speed is 220 kph.The gear box is a seven speed DSG. The new Superb takes only 9.1 seconds to reach 100 km from 0.Even the 2.4 litre V6 Accord automatic takes 11.76 secs.
The boot prvides 565 litres of space.There are two types of opening for the boot.One is like all sedans behind the glass area and another the entire boot lid along with the glass area, a notch- back

JAZZ IS COMING TO INDIA

The second generation Jazz is already in India.It will hit Indian show rooms in June 2009.It is the biggest hatch back, even bigger than the i20 and Skoda Fabia.
This car offers generous amount of space.To correct the obstructin of the A-pillar, the Jazz has slimmer A-pillar and wide quarter glass.The boot is the largest in a hatch back we have ever seen.There is a new feature called" double trunk"in the boot, a small storage area covered by a hinged flap where usually the spare tyre sits.Alas! the spare tyre is not provided,which is disastrous in the Indian roads.Instead a spare tyre could have been provided under the boot like in the Toyota Innova, the older generation Peugeot Cars.

This has an i-vtec engine as well as an i-intec interior.The back seats are cinema theatre type.One can fold the cushion upwards and backwards to create more space in the foot well.
For this purpose the petrol tank has been shifted from the conventional rear to under the front seats.The rear seat is 40/60 split.The seats can be folded turned or rotated.There is even a box under the rear seat.The real magic is here.The boot space is 399 litre.
