The agile Q5 is a scaled down version of the Q7 built on the same platform as the A4 with the same wheel base.
The steering wheel has audio controls on it.The automatic version has paddle shifts also to change gears. A new characteristic of this SUV is its hill descent feature. The on board computers assist you to climb down a steep hill.
Two engine options are available in India. A 3.0 litre 240bhp TDi diesel and a 2.0 litre 208 bhp turbo petrol. In the US market a 3.2 LV6 variable valve lift petrol is the olny option now available.A hybrid petrol/electric may come out in the future.
Gear box is 7 speed dual clutch automatic.Permanent 4 wheel drive Quattro system gives out 40/60 front/rear power delivery.
Estimated price is 45 lakh Indian rupees.

Wow!!! To own an audi!!!! I love the Audi TT...although the coupe style may not suit our weather...especailly with the mercury soaring now!!!
